How to create an email hosting customer

Email hosting customer/area

Each email hosting client should have a unique name that is the same in Crystal Infinite as it is in our email hosting system. This ensures that we can match up records correctly for invoicing purposes. If the names do not match up, then issues will occur.

Multiple domains and email accounts

Some clients will have multiple domains running off their email account. This is fine to do and should be setup as per how the client wishes to be invoiced. If the client requires two invoices for two different companies, then we setup two customer accounts for them. If the client has multiple domains but wishes for all accounts to be on the one invoice, then we setup a single account for them. Therefore you need to work out how the client wishes to be charged which will dictate how you setup the account.

Creating an email customer account summary

  1. Use lastpass to login to our email hosting system.
  2. Click on Add Customers.
  3. Type in the Company which should match the Crystal Infinite area.
  4. Click Save.
